The sooner we can diagnose a condition, the sooner we can provide treatment to help preserve your vision.
Optomap detects 30% more than a traditional exam.
This revolutionary diagnostic tool allows our doctors to view the retina by taking an ultra-widefield (200°), high-resolution image in a single shot and provides a permanent record that your doctor can reference in the future. An Optomap retinal image only takes a quarter of a second to acquire and is as simple as taking a photograph.
Pretty cool, right? At Elite Optical, the Optomap Retinal Exam is the standard of care for all exams. Declining the Optomap retinal imaging will require a longer appointment time be scheduled to allot for additional time to dilate the eyes. The Optomap retinal imaging is only $39 with most insurance plans and we match that rate for our cash pay patients to ensure we can provide the highest level of care at an affordable cost. Families of 4 or more who schedule together will only pay $20 per person for the Optomap retinal imaging.
